Towing an electric car is different from a petrol or diesel car. Why? Because if you tow it with the drive wheels on the ground, the electric motor will spin and generate current. This can damage the high-voltage battery and cost thousands of euros. We never take that risk.
We use exclusively a full flatbed: we load your electric car completely, all four wheels off the ground. No wheel touches the ground, no risk to the battery or motor. Many people ask us: can you charge my electric car on site? No, we don't do that. Why? Because an empty electric car takes hours to charge (minimum 30 minutes on a fast charger to recover 80%, several hours on a normal socket).
Our job is to get you back on the road quickly. We tow you to the nearest charging station, or to a garage if it's an electronic fault. You plug in, charge at your leisure, and off you go. It's more efficient than waiting for hours on the roadside.
